FAQ
When should we book you?
Pre-bookings are welcomed from 15 weeks onward.
When you pre-book your newborn session, you’ll be added to my monthly ‘baby list’. This guarantees your place in my calendar during the month your baby is due.
Once your little one arrives, we’ll simply lock in a specific date and time for your session.
Can I book a weekend Session?
My weekends are reserved for weddings, full/extended family sessions or mini-session events. If you need a Saturday session you will need to book a Full Newborn session. This is based on availability.
Where are you based and do you travel?
My Studio is based in Barrhead Alberta. I do all my studio newborn photos there. If you want me to photograph your in-home newborn session 30km outside or more, I require a small travel fee, depending on where it takes place. But no worries, I always try to find the most economical way to come because I love the way my creativity is developed when I discover a new place. Reach out for a custom quote.
Will you remove red bumps/dry skin?
I am able to remove those things and I offer skin smoothing. If you DO NOT want these things please let me know in advance.
How old should the baby be?
If you have no complications via birth/recovery, I would love to get you in within the first 12 days. If there are factors that you cannot that is okay, I will always try my best and never turn a newborn away based on age.
Do you photograph Twins/Multiples?
Yes I do!! I have done multiple twin sessions, and I have photographed triplets once! I love the challenge. I suggest booking the regular or full newborn session to get the most out of your experience.
Can we include family/sibling poses?
I include Family/Sibling photos with all of my newborn sessions EXCEPT the mini newborn session. This session is strictly baby. We either have family/siblings come at the very beginning or the end. This way they can leave the studio as my space is small and not set up to entertain other children.
Do you photograph maternity sessions?
Yes! The packages for that would be found under my portrait session page. When booking a maternity and a newborn session at the same time and paying the retainer you will receive a $25 discount from each session.
Can we buy extra photos?
Yes you can! You can purchase additional images for $25+gst each, 5/$100+gst or the whole gallery for $550+gst
